Lioncroft Wholesale Limited’s business was formed in 2020 after being bought out from the wider East End Foods’ business. This wholesale business is a £150m turnover company, stretched across two sites with ambitions to grow rapidly in the next few years. It operates through having a diverse customer base across thousands of customers and a strong supplier base.
The Role
At Lioncroft Wholesale, we’re looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
As our Deputy General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the depot, working alongside the General Manager to ensure every customer receives first-class experience and every colleague knows what great looks like.
When the General Manager isn’t there, the depot is yours to lead.
Main Duties
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently and consistently every single day.
You’ll:
- Support and deputise for the General Manager across all areas of depot operation.
- Lead daily communication and motivate colleagues to achieve high standards.
- Plan resources throughout the day to maximise productivity and respond to changing customer demand.
- Coach and hold Section Supervisors accountable for operational excellence.
- Ensure outstanding housekeeping, stock presentation and safety standards across every aisle.
- Lead the successful launch of promotions and maintain excellent merchandising standards.
- Drive pricing accuracy, stock availability and weekly gap scanning.
- Resolve issues quickly while maintaining a positive, high-performing culture.
- Champion exceptional customer service through acknowledging and engaging every customer.
